OK....What? You need to be more specific...Is this in a browser or in every app? Post a screenshot...Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

The guardian is the worst it keeps on appearing despite being deletedThis is probably (Google) News. You can go innto the settings and turn off the notifications altogether, or reduce the frequency2 -
- If your default browser is Chrome, Open Chrome navigate to Site Settings (3 dots top right) and make sure the "Pop-ups" section is set to "Blocked".

I know that I said "pop ups keep appearing" but it looks more like an app, rather than pop upits a whole page of them - from swiping left from home screenyou can supposedly prevent them by using the 3 dots top right and saying "NO MORE OF THESE" - Yet they keep on reappearing

I don't quite understand what you are getting but I recall getting something similarly annoying (but swiping right from Home) a while back which I stopped.
In Settings scroll down and select Home Screen. Part of the way down there should be the option to deselect "Add Media Page to Home Screen" I think this is set to On by default.
Best of luck.1 -
It's not on the home screenNeil49 said:I don't quite understand what you are getting but I recall getting something similarly annoying (but swiping right from Home) a while back which I stopped.

Then since everything we've suggested doesn't work the issue is probably being caused by an app you have on your phone. When you get the notification you should be able to swipe down on it and it should show you what app is causing it. You can then go into that App's settings and you should be able to change the amount of notifications. The other option could be to get Android to block the notifications, though this may have the unintended effect of blocking something you want to see depending on what app is causing this.2

I think the OP means when on the main home screen (1st page if multiple pages) if he swipes left (either accidentally or intentionally) the stories / headlines in the News Feed page and comes up via READ menu at bottom of screenSometimes I wonder...
"why is that frisbee getting bigger?"
...and then it hits me
