The "shipping" price paid by the buyer also includes the import dutys/local taxes/vat.
    It's not just postage.

If you relist/sell via the gsp don't forget ebay will also charge a % for "International payment" onto of the final value fee.

buyer has bought and paid for the item, It was listed for £61.50 with £3.50 postage. looking at the total order value it says £94.70 so they have added £29.70 to it!

That's the amount extra the buyer has paid for postage from the gsp center to his location.
And also the tax/vat/duty, so they won't pay any extra import fees on arrival.

I think buyers may have to pay an "international fee" as well as the seller although I think this is just shown to them within the shipping cost.

The total price will have been shown to the buyer before they purchased the item.

A point mentioned above was that FVFs are reportedly charged on the whole lot, not just the amount the seller gets - buyer knows how much they're paying before they commit, but seller's fees can be a nasty surprise.

FVFs are not charged on the GSP element just on the item cost and Uk postage cost charged by the seller.

I must have misremembered the recent post then, maybe it was 'just' sales taxes included and not GSP postage.

just about to post it to the GSP centre, the postcode on the address I have been sent is WS13 8UR, but when buying postage using the eBay tool it says "Warning: We think this should be WS13 8SU"
Is that warning part generated by Royal Mail? I'm leaning towards just leaving it as the 8UR address , which is the one I can find on Google also

I got charged FVF on the sales tax charged to a US customer but not the GSP shipping element. I got charged nothing extra to a French customer using GSP.

Weirdly the Ebay address they quote on the orders is different than what Google says is the postcode for the Dove Close address they give. Royal Mail postcode search gives the right details for WS13 8UR though and that's what I always use and never had any issues.

As a general rule I would always send to whatever the order says as I assume that will give me protection against errors whereas second guessing it would just lead to them saying 'thats not the address you were given.'
