Try white vinegar that comes in 5 litres bottles, 100% guarantee to kill moss, weeds, hmm  so-so. Yes your drive will pong for a bit. £7 or break you back.

And the weeds sprout above the stuff, sending roots down. When they hit the fabric, they knit themselves in to the stuff. End result is a weed "mat" that can be rolled up for disposal. Unfortunately, it can not be composted or recycled, so ends up in landfill.
Under a block paved driveway, you won't get much in the way of weeds, so the only purpose of a geotextile is to stop the hardcore in the sub-base migrating down in to the subsoil. This might happen if you are on clay. On sand, the geotextile isn't really needed.

Weedkiller, wire brushes, and a bit of manual labour is the way to go. You will never stop weeds from sprouting in the joints..

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.

I would jet wash it, fill with dry kiln sand on a dry day and then get a spray bottle filled with roseate 360 weedkiller and spray it over the entire driveway so it's has a good covering.

I did mine this way over a year ago and only had a few weeds sprout through which I then take more weedkiller to.
  • I understand an application of Jeyes Fluid will do the job. 5 litres appropriately diluted and applied with a broom. Or you can pay any of the many firms who advertise this sort of work.

    Thanks everyone.

Weed control fabric was laid when redoing the driveway two years back,  At that time i was very happy that weeds will not grow  :'(

@DRP Please can you suggest which weeding brush you are referring too?
@Postik Do we need to have any special tools for and any specific requirements for for pressure washing and then re-sanding?
@Ectophile Is there a permanent solution , Just like spraying some weed killer and moss/mold killer? I know that

Also please can any one suggest me whats meant by RE SEALING  the block paver drive way?

    Thanks in advance.
We have one of these, works well with a bit of (lot of) elbow grease.

Our neighbour scrubs his whole drive with actual toilet bleach every couple years. Stinks to high heaven, but I would eat my dinner of his drive right now :) ours has the rustic look

I have a tarmac drive and the only thing i found that will shift moss is Patio Magic.    In the garden which is block paved i use a glyphosate weed killer (Rosate 360) in a spray bottle, it works well to kill off weeds including the roots.

We have a big block drive. Used to take 4 full days to do using a scraper or jet wash. Bought a Ryobi electric tool, and it is a game changer. Did it all in one day, then applied weed killer and moss killer. Been great. Best it has been in 9 years
