The keeper should name you as driver and give your address (by email) if you will be better at ignoring the daft £170 threatograms.

It is that simple. Someone just ignores it and only comes back here for advice if the £170 demands make way for an actual court claim.

Getting a claim is not 'getting a CCJ'.  Defending is easy and not risky; we don't risk people's credit ratings when we say this is safe as long as you don't ignore a court claim (but you don't pay it!).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

"I wonder why they didn’t just respond to my appeal directly ? rather than sending what seems to be a template letter. I followed Plan B exactly (after trying Plan A). I also really don’t like the uncertainty " 😅
Because they are working a bulk template letter scam of course and they prey on your fears and uncertainty, you need to wise up to these idiots, the regulars on here have seen everything over the years and know what they are talking about.
This is not about parking management or being reasonable, or genuine appeals process it's about greed and making money in any way they can.

    As above  -  per Newbies:-

These are some of the comments made by the MPs in Parliament concerning the unregulated parking industry (Feb 2018):

    https://hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2018-02-02/debates/CC84AF5E-AC6E-4E14-81B1-066E6A892807/Parking(CodeOfPractice)Bill

''Rip-offs from car park Cowboys must stop''; unfair treatment; signage deliberately confusing to ensure a PCN is issued; ''years of abuse by rogue parking companies''; bloodsuckers; ''the current system of regulation is hopeless, like putting Dracula in charge of the blood-bank''; extortionate fines; rogue operators; ''sense of injustice''; unfair charges and notices; wilfully misleading; signage is a deliberate act to deceive or mislead; ''confusing signs are often deliberate, to trap innocent drivers''; unreasonable; a curse; harassing; operating in a disgusting way; appeals service is no guarantee of a fair hearing; loathed; outrageous scam; dodgy practice; outrageous abuse; unscrupulous practices; ''the British Parking Association is as much use as a multi-storey car park in the Gobi desert''; and finally, by way of unanimous conclusion: ''we need to crack down on these rogue companies. They are an absolute disgrace to this country. Ordinary motorists and ordinary residents should not have to put up with this''.

These are the exact words used, so you should quote them to your MP in a complaint.

    Good evening all,

hope you are well. Finally received the appeal rejection.

Did you decide not to take my advice because (maybe) the keeper is the more robust person?

No P_D it's owned by Alberta Investment Company now and operated by BBC Studioworks

Tbh I just didn’t get round to it. We had a death in the family and so that really took my attention.

I’m assuming I go through the ias to appeal again.  I could put my details on there instead?

No. We don't try IAS, as explained in the NEWBIES thread.  Instead, follow my advice now, if the keeper doesn't want the letters coming to them.

I noticed in your advice you said the keeper should name me as the driver but “by email” ?  Sorry. Just wanted to confirm that I shouldn’t do this on the Gemini appeal website? But literally email them? If so curious also to why by email.

    Thank you
