Appeal response

Hi all,

I appealed my parking ticket using the template on a post. And I received this back.

This doesn’t seem to be an appeal rejection, but rather a response asking for more information.

Would be great full for advise on how to proceed.

Ignore that and wait patiently for your appeal rejection letter.

We've seen a similar begging 'tell us who was driving' letter so many times. It is obvious you ignore it because you want them to make their final decision! Bring it on.

Then you ignore Gemini.  NO TRYING IAS.

There is no appeal.  Ignore them.

Was the PCN a POFA compliant one or not? I don't think Gemini are bothering with the PoFA now they are in the IPC instead of the BPA.

What happened when you tried Plan A first?

    See the NEWBIES thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Interesting to see that Gemini Parking Solutions London Ltd are asking...
Please ensure that correspondence is sent to APCOA Parking, PO Box 815, Wigan, WN1 9WX in order to correctly adhere with the appeals process.

Ignoring the grammar, why are Gemini clouding the issue by even mentioning APCOA?

Surely to "correctly adhere to the process", any appeal should be sent to whoever made the accusation in the first place?

Gemini were acquired by APCOA in 2022, so who is the parking contract actually with:
They are total idiots, their website blog even talks about private parking "fines" three times in this article, well what a bunch of amateurs:"

I tried to reach out to the restaurant on two occasions, they ignored my emails. Then when I called  they said there was nothing they could do.

Really? This was sent after my appeal? Does this not count as an appeal rejection?

No it isn't an appeal rejection letter.

Despite ending with a preposition, this sentence makes that reasonably clear...
As a gesture of goodwill we have placed the charge on hold for an additional period of 14 days to enable one of the above actions to be complied with.

That NTK is not capable of holding a registered keeper liable.  Gemini have decided to copy Excel's drivel that the keeper is being pursued 'on the assumption you were the driver'

Ignore them completely. DO NOT PHONE THEM.  Ignore their letters. NO PAYING!

Do not take the laughable £170 inflated threatograms seriously. Just ignore Gemini and the daft third party debt demands and come back if you get a court claim or solicitor's LBC (see 2nd and 4th posts of the NEWBIES thread).

There's no risk and certainly don't pay it!

Tell Gemini's twelve year old self-styled author 'entrepreneurs' if you move house though.

You must never leave a PPC with a possible old address to send a claim form to, years down the line, because they can and do cause CCJs that way.  Claims being unseen because they go to an old address are the only risk but all is OK as long as you keep your address up to date with Gemini's 12 year olds, so you are seeing all the laughable letters.

Gemini don't come across as the sharpest tools in the box (from the daft 'look at me' Podcasts we've seen from them where one of them even glorified his mis-spent schooldays like a badge of honour) and are not litigious so we'd mainly signpost you to post 4 of the NEWBIES thread.

    DO COME BACK IN JULY/AUGUST!

We need you to do the Government's upcoming final PUBLIC CONSULTATION on the level of parking charges.

We'll be all over it here!  See you then.

    I’ll be there!

so I am not the registered keeper, but I was driving. I’m worried the registered keeper May just insist I pay it and get it out the way. They have no faith in the appeals process and of course we don’t want any CCJs as that could affect our credit.

I wonder why they didn’t just respond to my appeal directly ? rather than sending what seems to be a template letter. I followed Plan B exactly (after trying Plan A). I also really don’t like the uncertainty 😅
