After Being Served A Section 21

You won't be homeless. If you haven't found somewhere by the date on the Section 21 you simply stay put. I have a lot of disdain for letting agents and I can't believe how many landlords sit back and go along with whatever tripe the letting agent wants to do which is often at cross-purposes with the landlord's interests. Contact the landlord directly to find out what's going on. If it's simply that the landlord wants more rent, and you can afford the increase, negotiate to stay with the landlord. You have nothing to lose. Sensible landlords don't evict perfectly good tenants for no reason.byronwells said:Alright guys
we have been served a section 21 which we need to move out by the end of July.. Everything is correct.. The only issue that we are having is trying to get another property to rent.. It's a nightmare and really stressing us out. We are thinking that the Landlord want's new tenants to get a higher rent than they did from us.. Please not we have going trough a letting agency. My query is if we have got the landlords details can we or should we contact the landlord and suggest that we can pay a little bit more rent than we were doing so before.. Or just leave it??
It's a nightmare at the moment trying to find another property to rent and are running out of time before we are homeless3 -
