Bank account frozen

Any one had a processing delay with Lloyds bank and know how long it takes to get started cause mine been four weeks now and they just keep saying some one will be in touch shortly any

    When banks freeze accounts, they can't/won't comment on the process itself, so nobody will know 'how long it takes to get started' and in any case will generally only be interested in when it'll finish, but it takes as long as it takes rather than being a predictable timescale.  If you've provided them with anything they've asked for, then it's just a case of waiting....

    It's not a prerequisite, but if they're suspicious of specific transactions then they'll often seek proof of source, etc - can you think of anything unusual in the conduct of your account leading up to the freeze?

    When you say "get started" is this an account you are in the process of opening?

    Nor nothing at all I sent my solicitor a large some of money for a deposit on a property

    Where had that money come from and how long had it been in the account for?  Did they process the transaction or stop/hold it?

    I had the money in my account for ages and money come from my businesses earnings mate and yes the payment went through pal
