Barclaycard live chat is a joke!

Long story short a few weeks ago
20th May I used Barclaycard live chat on app to order some copy statements need them as moved & wanted to see what I spent over the years etc!

Told me they would arrive by said date!
Never turned up by that date so messaged again & they wouldn’t help & check if they were ordered so just said sorry & ordered more with out asking me & ended chat! Happened a few times on live chat & Apple chat!
The ones that did turn up were completely the wrong dates!
so when I eventually rung Barclaycard 8th June! the lovely helpful lady told me what had been ordered & when & said sorry about the issues & wrong dates ordered, I will order the correct dates should Arrive in next 5-10 days but within the next 2-3 weeks I might get loads of unwanted statements but said up to me what I do with them!
I am annoyed that I might be getting loads of unwanted paper that I didn’t ask for lol!
anyone else have issues where live chat not doing simple requests?

The chances of you being the only person ever to have had a poor customer service experience are zero.2 -
I know just wondered if other people had bad experience with live chat
if they had done what I asked then wouldn’t of needed to order excess amount of statements that I didn’t ask for lol0 -
The quality of service on live chats is mostly poor in my experience, not just with Barclaycard. I sometimes wonder if they're trying to deal with about 20 chats at the same time, would be hard to be good quality if so.2

That’s what I thought dealing with loads of people at once & wanna get me sorted & done as quickly as they can,
So that’s why they kept ordering the statements & closing chat annoying but o well0 -
In the ‘old’ days you could actually go to a branch and speak to a human! Funny how it worked well. 😁0

The good old days of going branch or actually ringing up & speaking to someone from the UK is very rare now days!Let’s see what turns up in the post in the next week or so & see what live chat actually ordered1

If you worked typical hours getting there, back and queuing would take most of your lunch hour. You also had to talk loud enough to be heard through the glass that everyone in the queue knew how much money you did/didn't have. Update! The statements i have asked for have not arrived yet! Only ones that turned up are the dates I didn’t ask for,
But when I rung up Barclaycard the person said they have 100% been ordered & should of been printed but as some were old dates & not large print as was standard print before their might be a delay in getting them as they need to re do in large print & to ring up again next week if not turned up to see what they can do to get them to me!0 -
