Cazoo - Sold me a damaged car
So I recently purchased a car on HP from Cazoo, and they sent me a document explaining the items they’ve repaired on the vehicle prior to me purchasing it, great!
After about 3 days of using the vehicle I noticed a noise from the suspension, so I had a quick look and it turns out the suspension components they replaced, were installed incorrectly and basically about to fall off the car.
Obviously I need to complain about this, but am I entitled to any sort of compensation? Seeing as they promise to do a “300 point check” and repair things properly, with “Trained mechanics”.
Any advice??

You won't be entitled to compensation but you are entitled to have a car that isn't about to fall apart.

They seem fairly eager to rectify their mistakes, however I’m also shelling out for public transport/hire cars etc etc0

No, consequential loss is not covered. You can ask for a token sum, but don't expect to get anything. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Aren't you entitled to return goods from online sellers within 14 days for a full refund, plus another seven days offered by Cazoo?0

Yes I should be able to get a full refund, it just feels like they have taken the mick (polite way of saying it), and they shouldn’t be able to get away with this kind of behaviour.0

Don't get it fixed by another garage, contact Cazoo0

It isn't both. They advertise 7 days, but legally if it's a completely remote sale, then 14 days is the legal requirement. You don't get 21 days for a change of mind.Yazmina said:Aren't you entitled to return goods from online sellers within 14 days for a full refund, plus another seven days offered by Cazoo?
In this circumstance, I would be looking to return it, not allow them to repair it again.
To the OP, as stated, consequential loss won't be part of the guarantee. You can always ask, but it won't be a legal requirement3
