I sent the Police screenshot of all posts and comments on FB..... thats the reply I got...petty
Well maybe it is petty. If you aren't willing to tell us the detail on here of what's been said (which is your choice) then it's really impossible for us to add anything extra to this. If the police have called it petty though then I suspect it's pretty far from the point they'd consider it criminal behaviour.

I agree with the others as well, it's unlikely the ex has breached the non-molestation order, at least to a point you can prove. Tell her to lock her profile down more and move on.

OK, your friend may need to apply back to court herself. She needs to check what the order says about powers of arrest - sometimes th power of arrest is limited to certain parts of the order , and for the parts not covered, she would have to apply to the court stating e is breaching it and the court can determine if he has.

She is free to return to the police, ask to speak to someone more serious nd point out that the actions of his new partner are a form or harassment, and that she wishes to report them as such  (harassment by new partner) bit also belies that they are a breach of the order and that the new partner will be doing this under his encouragement and that she would like them to arrest him for breaching the injunction.

The police are entitled to take a view on whether there is good enough evidence of a breach to allow them to arrest him, and may offer advice to him instead if they feel there is not. However, even oif they don't feel there is enough evidence, calling her petty is unprofessional and it would not be unreasonable for her to rias e that as a concern and point out that she is a victim of domestic abuse and that this is a further incidence of harassment on top of that , and name-calling y police officers is unprofessional and inappropriate

All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)

I can understand your concern really well.
I have been having some issues with my ex husband friends saying things about me on twitter.
He goes on trial in August for coercive control.
I have been advised by the police detectives in charge of my case to keep a diary of incidents.
When it comes to the trial my barrister will be raising the messages during the cross examination.
I hope your friend is ok.
