Then you can try section 75  with the credit card company as they are "jointly and severally liable"

If my thinking is correct you can return car to CC company as short term right to reject, makes it easier if dealer has done a runner.
Or if you want to keep car then the cost to fix it claim from CC  company.

Hi, you have some rights - as per in this link -

And if the dealer has, indeed, 'disappeared' then you need to complain in the strongest possible terms to Auto Trader because they put you in this position by allowing that person or persons to advertise on their site. They will have his/her details.

    How to complain -

Hope this helps. Dodgy car dealers really make me mad!

    Hmm
Autotrader are going to place any complaint into the nearest dustbin if all that the OP has to say is that AT should somehow have known that the Trader was going to disappear.
I also assume you dont have much understanding  of GDPR rule if you are suggesting AT are going to hand over the traders details
Of course AT know  the traders details but so whatas this does not help the OP

  • Warranty Company have told me the warranty is £550. I spoke to my CC company yesterday and they said do i want to reject the car or am i looking to get compensated for the dealer not putting the warranty on. Im not sure what to do in this situation. Other than the minor parking sensor fault which can be fixed easily, the car runs fine. Its just got me paranoid about the car
