Transferring all of the data (contacts, photos, emails, documents etc) across - when theres no linked google account - how is this done ?

Does the SIM  hold any data ?

I need to reduce the SIM size - so once done, theres no going back.....

Yes everything if you sync a google account

Have done it and everything has gone across - but in different places than before

missing contacts short cut

Wife can't cope with this......

'contacts' are in app drawer,

 Drag up to home page for shortcut or just open 'Dialler App'

She'll get used to the new phone. I just changed from Moto to Pixel and it took a while for me to get everything the way I like it. After a couple of weeks it's fine.

What she needs is a simple android 12 phone without all of the bells and whistles
