BT broadband and TV - can I do better?

My contract with BT is about to end, so I wondered if I could do better.

I have full fibre 100, BT TV entertainment pack and digital voice landline.

I'm paying £65 a month.

Sky keep calling me, trying to get me back. Perhaps they would be cheaper?

Thank you.

You can include TV as well in the comparison site, £65 seems expensive.

Do you have a call package included in that £65?

If sky keep calling you then it’s highly likely you will get offered a better deal than your current one as it seems they really want your custom. Bear in mind you will also get new customer deals

    Thanks both.

On one of the comparison sites it said BT is best for full fibre and Sky only have two options. Is that the case?

I have fibre direct to thw box when they rolled it out in my roas 18 months ago, prior to that my connection was awful.

So I'm a little nervous changing broadband supplier as I upload large video files for work.

Or does Sky offer the same?

  • Sky offer full fibre up to 900Mbps but only in selected areas. You will need to check your speed availability on the sky site to find out what you can get. You may be only able to get 38 or 61Mbps

Are you in a virgin media area?

Thanks, I checked and it looks like all the fibre options are available at my address, so up to the 900.

I am on Fibre 100 with BT, so 30mbps upload speed, so I would need Sky ultrafast Plus to exceed that.

    Then the TV on top.

Sadly Virgin is not available in my area.
