I'm coming to the end of my SIM only contract with Three that was probably MSE deal of the month in July 2021
£8 pm (now £8.47), 12 Gb data, U/L minutes and texts, tethering and inclusive roaming.
Three tell me that my highest usage over the last 6 months was 2.5 Gb data, 140 minutes and 6 texts and is now offering me similar for about £12!
The latest MSE/Lebara deal of 3Gb, U/L calls/texts etc for 49p (then £4.90) would suit me fine but ...
Lebara tell me that it doesn't support WiFi calling (essential) on my phone Moto G31, but a friend uses WiFi calling on Voda with a Moto G13 (also not oficially supported)
I wondered about subscribing to the Lebara deal for 49p, sticking the sim in my dual sim phone and trying it.
Can I just run with it for a while and then, if I'm happy, get my PAC from Three and port the number. If not happy, just stop the contract
Hope that all makes sense!

Any reason why you can't just stick with your current Three contract? After the twelve months, it'll just revert to a monthly roll on contract at your current rate (obviously the RPI+ increase next April will be added on yearly), which will stay that way until they decide that you can't continue on it.Have they said that you can't remain on your current contract? If they're not forcing you off, just stick with what you've got.I'm currently on a Three contract that's gone past its twelve months. The email they sent me before the twelve month contract was coming to an end said that I could continue on my current monthly deal, which I have done so. You should have got the same email.0

For the sake of 49p it could be worth a try, but the experience of others suggests lebara aren't likely to offer much support around wifi calling.
As you have dual sim though it is no great gamble.
You could use it just for the mobile data for 6 months. Then a possibility opens up. The best option for wifi calling is 1pmobile and you could pay for unlimited calls for a year for £36 (with 250mb pm free) and port your number to them;
https://www.1pmobile.com/1year-calls-texts-data-SIM
Then after 6 months on the lebara deal you can stop the renewal and shop around if you need the data offer.1 -

This happened on my wife's iphone too so it wasn't a device issue, it was a network issue. I contacted Three but they offered no help.EDIT - and Three are stopping inclusive roaming I believe.1

WiFi calling is meant to be available on Lebara but it seems to be a mixed bag in terms of some users having it and others not. In my experience, Lebara's roaming has worked fine for me and I have found them excellent value overall. Definitely give them a try and see if Lebara works for you.If you decide to remain on the Three network (or want to end your contract now) why not move to Smarty; no contract with monthly bundles, WiFi calling and EU roaming included. You can get 8GB for £3.50 for the first 3 months here. Also, if you use a friend's link to sign up you can get a free £10 Amazon, John Lewis or Uber voucher (PM me if you'd like to use mine )

Ah, fair enough. I was under the mistaken impression that you wanted to stay with what you currently had, but was bothered by the £12 a month asked to move to a new comparable contract with them.

How long after starting with a deal can you PAC in a different number? (is there a limit)

Lebara & WiFi calling ??
Absolutely no way.
Complete disaster on a Moto G50 & Moto G9 Play.
Never managed to get it working despite months of emails with Lebara1 -
Update!Sim arrived this morning - have put it in and it works, but as expected ... no wifi calling and the signal here at home (I've not been anywhere else to check) is worse than Three that we already haveTime to look a little harder methinks but at 49ppm, I may as well hang on to it for the initial 6 months to see if it's worth using at all.0
