Thanks once again for your help and advice on here. - received the following response by email (after mentioning the SRA):

Please note that our N279 notice was filed with the court on 27/06/2023 and our file closed. Having noted Money claim online it seems that our notice of discontinuance was rejected, reasons unknown, however our file has remained closed and consequently the claim would be stayed.

Following your recent email, I have filed the N279 notice again with the Courts and await confirmation of receipt.

Perhaps the OP may still want to press DCB Legal on who at their firm of intellectually malnourished individuals actually applied to a District Judge to have the stay lifted and who filed the N180 DQ, as asked by @Coupon-mad. They need to feel uncomfortable about this.

I sent the email below on the 30th - had no reply but the MCOL was updated on the 31st:

I emailed you on the 23rd August with no response and then the 26th August, not the 29th August. 

Please can you advise me who applied to the district judge to have the stay lifted (as per MCOL online 2.8.23) and who filed the DQ?

Please can you confirm what your role is - are you also ‘Paralegal’? So that I know for future reference if I need to proceed with the SRA.

Please confirm in writing when you have confirmation the N279 notice was received by the Courts.
