Leaving BT broadband.....what happens to email address

Hi, all replies appreciated, TIA

As above, I wish to leave BT broadband as its too dear.

What happens to my btinternet.com email address though?

Will I still be able to access this as time passes, but by signing in with password etc every time rather than as an app?

Or will I lose this email eventually?

I’ve just left BT, this was in one of the emails they sent me. 

We'll downgrade your email account

At the moment, any email addresses you have are linked to your broadband service. When your broadband stops, we'll automatically downgrade you to our Basic email service. This will happen after 60 days.

To keep all the features you have today, you can sign up to our Premium email service for £7.50 a month, payable by Direct Debit. To do that, log in at bt.com/mybt
