Thanks again everyone.
Wow - So much to read, and so unfortunate that any of this has to actually exist!
Thanks @drbayleaf - Those cheerful chaps have been there since 1982 (perhaps they are robots).
I just posted a tripadvisor review - So many bad reviews and amazing that the 2 pay machines are still not working.
It really is a massive trap! Words almost fail me!
I'm considering going back there (parking externally) to take pictures of signage and pay machines as evidence. Unless anyone else has recent ones?
And thanks @KeithP - I've filed the AOS and have started the look at example defence statements.
I have to say that this whole experience has stressed me out.

....... and if it is, then use most of the template defence apart from the parts that talk about the spurious debt admin costs as ParkingEye don't (or sometimes don't) add them1505grandad said:Just checking - is the claimant ParkingEye?1 -
UNLESS the claim was filed by DCBLegal, for ParkingEye!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And filed by them, not DCBLegal?
This is what the NEWBIES thread second post covers. It tells you about ParkingEye claims.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@LittleBiker5 if you do go back make sure you don't take any viscous liquids; I'd hate for some sensitive optics to get all blurred.
I searched the web long for recent photos of the carpark signage but found none. I do have the PE "official" photos of the signs and happy to share, but even their ones are so low resolution as to not be able to make out the small print (deliberate?).0 -
Sorry @Coupon-mad - I've been busy over the last week.
Yes it was filed by them not DCBLegal.
@drbayleaf - Yes I may go there on my motorbike a it only has a plate on the back!
I've finished the first draft of my defence. Is it OK to post it here (without personal details of course) ?1 -
Yep, just post your paragraphs that you have added or edited away from the template, we don't need to see it all - not forgetting to add them back to the template after checking and before sending to CCBC by e-mail.LittleBiker5 said:I've finished the first draft of my defence.
