PCN unclear parking

Only try IAS if you know it's a farce and not to pay if you lose. You are not paying unless a Judge tells you to, and with those signs that's not happening!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes, it's an utter farce but I have to do something right? No intention to pay. So the next step I would think is IAS appeal? And share my photos of the area and poor signage and also their photo of the sign that they are implying is a contract with the fine amount painted out? Pedantic but I also found their photograph of the interior of my car a bit creepy. lol!Coupon-mad said:Only try IAS if you know it's a farce and not to pay if you lose. Should the signage now say IPC not BPA, as they have joined the IPC? I'm asking to see if it's worth mentioning this in my second appeal to IAS as more ammo.Castle said:
But the sign/signage refers to the BPA, not the IPC.maxsti15 said:Sorry to bother on this again. I've just been in to lodge the appeal and there is not really a category that fits the basis of the appeal, I've attached a photo of the options. The nearest option is 'no signage' but since they have posted a photo of 'a sign' stating you can't park in this area, no idea where that sign is I didn't see it from where I parked, and I did not park near a wall, so am happy to appeal but just not sure what to appeal under. Probably signage and say the sign wasn't visible from the space and photo of floor shows PARK.0 -
The sign in the photo shows both the BPA and the IPC logos. A PPC can be a member of the BPA but an approved operator of the IPC. I just wonder if there is anything in consumer law about conflicting logos with different appeal times etc.?
This cabal of scammers are reluctantly sad and regrettable according to that appeal rejection:
"Sadly we are unable to accept your appeal..."
"...you will regrettably no longer be able to pay..."
"Regrettably, payments made..."
"...reluctantly instructing a debt collection..."

Well there's always Section 69 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.B789 said:I just wonder if there is anything in consumer law about conflicting logos with different appeal times etc.?
That states...69 Contract terms that may have different meanings
If a term in a consumer contract, or a consumer notice, could have different meanings, the meaning that is most favourable to the consumer is to prevail.2 -
Just wondering what to do and say really. Try appeal with IAS and go from there but am I saying there is no contract being offered by signage and including the photo they took plus my own? I don't really understand the contract bit, if there is or isn't one. I don't want to say the wrong thing and throw accusations about without knowing if it's right.0

WRONG. You do not have to try IAS.maxsti15 said:

But with that sign uploaded as evidence it's worth a try. Show us your draft wording first and we'll help.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think with the evidence uploaded too, that might well see Gemini throw in the towel.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks! Well, it's submitted. Total pain in the bum as you can't copy and paste into the appeal field so typed it all out again and also attached a PDF, belt and braces! Photos can't be bulk uploaded either bit MSDOS isn't it! Here's hoping...0
