I am with Now Broadband and recently moved into a new flat and transferred it to come with me. I am going to be in this flat only for another 9 months before I move in with my partner.
Now Broadband have already told me my bill is going to be increasing massively as I am coming to the end of my 2 year contract. Due to the short term nature of my tenancy agreement I dont want to sign up for a 12-24 month contract, but can't find anywhere that does shorter other than NOW Broadband. any ideas?

Now broadband do a rolling monthly contract but it's perhaps cheaper to get a 12 month deal either from them or elsewhere. Monthly's always cost more.0

Now Broadband renewal emails have always been quite odd. Hopefully it's not changed in the last few months. My "renewals" email that I seem to get every August says something along the lines of "you're currently paying £22 - you can re-contract for another year and it'll be £31" - the figures might not be right but that's the gist of it. Somewhere in the email it says something along the lines of "what you can do is just not bother with the whole contract thing and just carry on paying £22 a month (no contract, keeps rolling unless cancelled, cancel anytime) ". I know that this will be £25.50 from now on but it sounds like this will be ideal for you. This does work, I'm actually leaving Now to move to an FTTP supplier (Now don't do FTTP). My new supplier contacted Now and Now emailed me to say my service will be transferred and there's no cancellation fee due.
Have a read of your "renewal" email and see if this is what it says.0 -

I left them just 2 or 3 weeks back for the same reason. I went to Sky when FTTP was enabled here but I'm jumping ship to Vodafone in the cooling off period as Sky are having some serious issues with their setup where they're capping people to half speed or the speed is jumping all over the place from one second to the next.0
