Post Office Online Saver

Options
I already have an online bond with the Post office, but wish to open an online saver but every application I do comes back technical fault try again later. I have even contacted there customer services who cannot understand why I have not had any email or confirmation but come back to us after 10 days . Is it because I have changed my address in the last 3 years but did inform every one . Thanks in advances

Do you already have an online account set up with the bond you have ? If you're already a customer and have informed them about your change of address than I can't see how that would prevent you from opening a new account, so that's unlikely to be the cause of the problem.

If you're getting technical faults during your application attempts, then I don't think waiting 10 days is going to help. Have you tried a different browser ?

I would use this as an opportunity to set up an easy access account elsewhere - you can do a lot better than the 3.47% the Post Office is currently offering.

Will try another company, When you log on to the Post Office Savings site you have to click on more products then it autos log you off , so you have to start a fresh application , done this by Safari on mobile and Microsoft Edge on laptop takes you through the whole application press submit then the technical fault comes up , explained to them at customer services . Thanks for reply

This is a normal occurence and would be recognised by many of us who have/had PO Online Saver(s).

Possibly, but it is also a normal occurence with the PO savings IT system.

..as I have posted many times before on similar threads, the PO is a truly terrible organisation to save money with, continual problems (which never seem to improve), and non existant customer service. Once bitten twice shy for me...never again!

I'm a bit wary of any organisation that introduced an accounting system that couldn't add up and then opted to prosecute hundreds of postmasters instead of checking the software. I've had a bad experience with their car insurance too. They made an error on the policy, tried to charge me to correct it then made me wait three weeks for a refund.

Not the same company. It's just branding as Post Office savings accounts are really Bank of Ireland.

I didn't know that and I bet a lot of their customers don't know it either. I have to say that's like branding a John Lewis product as Ratners. For me Post Office is a tainted brand for finance and insurance.
