Lebara SIM Activation

Hi, I have bought a Lebara SIM card to use in a GPS tracker (not a phone), how do I activate the SIM, would I need to take out the SIM in my mobile and put it in there to activate it and then put it in the tracker?

Yes because you need to read the code that is sent to you as a text to activate the sim card on your account.

When I joined lebara in January it said to put the sim in the phone and make a call or send a text to activate the plan. I did and it didn't. After i emailed them to say the text went through but then I couldn't send any more they eventually activated the plan. After that I put it in a 4g router and use it as my backup. So yes, I would advise you use it in a phone first.
