My most recent change to O2 was completed quickly and no problems, which was handy as I went abroad 5 days later0 -
My family have also suffered the Lebara porting issues having followed the MSE top deals advice. My wife and 2 daughters all switched and followed the porting process. After 3 days from confirmation of porting calls, messages and data are still not working. The Lebara support number does not work. The Chat support only advises there are issues and we should wait another day. It appears Lebara have significant porting problems. Wish we had not switched and hoping they can sort it soon!0

The advice is to limit use until everything switches. In particular using the old sim can cause a delay.
If everything hasn't switched after 24 hours then.contact the new provider and ask them to get their MNP team to investigate (Mobile Number Portability)1 -

Noted, but it was the only way to receive calls!

All fixed now - comments added above for other's reference

I too am stuck in Lebara porting hell.Moving from Vodafone.I’ve had Lebara welcome emails showing my old number and I can see my old number in their app in my account, however I can’t verify it as requested because it says there have been too many attempts and to try later.I’ve tried a web chat and 2 live calls. I’ve been asked to go back to Vodafone for a new PAC code. Vodafone tell me they can’t issue a new pac code because my number has already left them.Lebara tell me my PAC doesn’t match my number, but it’s the PAC from the automated service, texted to my number just a few days ago. Then they say to wait 24 hours, and to try at 8am tomorrow (which isn’t 24 hours) I say if it doesn’t match, how is it going to match in 24 hours? I do think the call centre just give stock phrases that don’t really mean anything.
…and on it goes.I have asked Lebara to escalate and look at the contradictory things I’ve been told over the 2 calls and the webchat, but mainly just to provide a solution. If anyone has a similar experience and can tell me what worked, please let me know. (I have also tried turning it off and on again!)0 -

I'm not sure how you verify the number but what are you not able to do at the moment?1 -
Yes the old SIM is deactivated.People calling or texting my old number can’t get through, and my concern is if I attempt to use any services that send a text with a verification code, I don’t get those texts.I have an email from Lebara yesterday at 3.30pm that says “ Dear customer, your existing mobile number has been successfully moved to the Lebara network.”
As per another post, I’m the family guinea pig for changing provider, and there’s no way I can recommend doing it, even for a good MSE deal.0
