The info bit is still working, though it is not clear from the front page.
Looks like they will be too heavy xGone ... or have I?0 -

Thanks, Is it therefore possible to check the rucksack in as it does say 20kg per person so 1 suit case and a rucksack be okay?I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something0 -

Earlier this year on one of the many ski trips that my OH takes (he is currently on his 6th:eek: ), he has tried to take his ski boots in his hand luggage and was told by the airline (I think it was first choice) that his boots had to go into the hold because they thought that they could injure someone if they fell out of the overhead locker (maybe they thought the plane would crash??).
Now my chap packs them into his suitcase and with my help takes less clothes and even packs his pants n socks into the boots (well, its wasted space).0 -
You could try wearing them on the flight...0

Went with First Vhoice to Val D'Isere week before Christmas. No limit on bags so just stick them in the hold along with your main suitcase.0

We go skiing every year and use Easyjet or Ryanair to get to our destination. The check-in people at Easyjet always ask me to check the boots in "because security people won't let me through" if I carry them on-board. I therefore asked the security people that same question. As far as they are concerned, they don't mind "as long as I only carry 1 piece of hand luggage". I am now taking them on-board as hand luggage in the boot bag they came with when I bought them.0
