PIP Payments later and later

Hello, has anybody else experienced issues with receiving PIP payments?

I'm usually paid on a Monday.

My last payment was 1 day late on Tuesday.

This week's payment will be recieved 4 days late on Friday.

No prior warning from DWP and no explanation.

When I called the PIP helpline to find out why the payment was late I recieved a recorded message stating my next payment date.

On hold/queuing for over an hour without speaking to anybody.

Perhaps Martin can Tweet about this and have some light forced onto it?  It can't just be me affected.

I had to fight for 2 years to be award my PIP at Tribunal using evidence they had been provided with since day 1.

Many thanks

Mrs is always on the same day, Friday at the 4 weekly intervals.

Martin does not read posts, so if it is something you would like to raise with him, a message to him via twitter is the best way.

Yeah that's what its supposed to be but the last 2 payments have been paid late for some reason.

I'll reach out to Martin on Twitter and try to get a response.

    Thanks.

If your due payment on a Monday dont forget we have had three bank holidays in May.  Not sure if that would push it to a Tuesday.

If payment is due on a bank holiday then it will be received on the Friday before, not the Tuesday after.

That is how it should happen.

I have recieved my payment late by 1 day (the week of the Coronation and I am aware DWP had a some sort of melt down that messed up payments for people with "due" dates before and after the event.

The next payment was due Monday of this week.  I get paid every 4th Monday.

No payment recieved.  I called PIP helpline and recieved an automated messaged advising my payment would be tomorrow (Friday).

I have the PIP paperwork infront of me stating I will be paid every 4th Monday from xx date.

Used to volunteer with various help organisations so more experienced than most with these things.  Hence asking here.  Nobody I know has an answer and PIP aren't exactly easy to get a hold of an advisor on the phone.

If your last payment was due on the Monday after the coronation then that would have been Monday 8th May, which you should have received the Friday before.

Counting 4 weeks from 8th May and your next payment should be Monday 5th June so up to now, it's not late. If you receive it tomorrow then it's early.

Best time to ring them is very often as soon as they open at 9am.

    The week of the coronation.

Instead of receiving it on the Monday I recieved it the day after.

I'll try calling first thing tomorrow again though.

There hasn't been 4 weeks since the coronation bank holiday weekend yet. That was on the 8th, and four weeks from then will be on the 5th of June, so your payment won't be due until next week if that is your schedule.

Unless you are mixing up your bank holidays and you meant that you received your last payment a day later than the May day bank holiday on 1st/2nd of May instead? But I don't recall people getting their payments a day late after that weekend, it was only the coronation one that went a bit funny due to the extra holiday and the CoL payments making things get a little caught up.

As above.. check your dates before wasting another hour on the phone. If payment was due 8th May (paid 9th due to bank holiday - surprising rather than previous week) then next due 5th June.

I’ve always had payments early when it comes to bank holidays.
2 come on a Monday and are always paid on the Friday before.
