Hi everyone, please point this post to the appropriate forum if needs be.

I received a parking fine from Good Value Parking LTD on 16/2/23 on Trinity Road car park in Digbeth, which is next to the Zumhof pub where I regularly provide entertainment services.

However, I ignored this and they have now sent a letter from CBS Solicitors and I am getting calls from UCS to speak to them about not paying the fine. They have even attempted to contact my mother on her work phone number.

Any help/please point me in the right direction to appeal this and the harassment? Thanks in advance.

Which part exactly? It's quite overwhelming!

It shouldn't be overwhelming. It is just that there is a lot of information there and you should take your time to read and digest what is in there. It is your go-to reference and every time you have a question, search for the answer in that thread before posting it here. The vast majority of questions are already answered in that thread.

All if it, please.  Not on a phone.

The sticky thread was written as a resource to avoid us having to start from scratch with having to type advice separately on a hundred threads per day.

Each post there deals with a different stage and in minutes you can see your stage is post 4 and no advice is needed right now.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Thanks.

So right now, I'm at the ignore them stage?

I'm happy to ignore their emails and phone calls. However, the concerning thing for me at this point is that they have called my mother's work phone and left a message - that to me is crossing the line.

I've told her to ignore them and don't answer, don't respond, don't retaliate. Do I just keep ignoring at this point?

Who is the PCN addressed to? Are you the RK? What relationship does your mother have with the vehicle? Is her name on the V5C?

Very simple, just block their number. Ignore them. CSB is a one man band mainly dealing with immigration, with a bit of a sideline in debt recovery. They've never bothered us in the past.

Be alert for a formal Letter Of/Before Claim or a County Court claim form from the Northampton CCBC - vanishingly unlikely.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

What has your mother's work number got to do with anything then? You should make a complaint to the ICO that her number is being used by a third party without her consent. If anything, at least, you will make the scammers have to scramble around for an excuse when they are contacted by the ICO with a query about this misuse of her data. It may even be worth SARing whoever it was that called your mother to find out where her number was obtained from.

This what I'm trying to figure out! She definitely hasn't consented to anything. I'll file a complaint against the ICO in the first instance.
