I changed the opening words a bit on the July thread - I just felt it would be good if the ways the challenge can help could be pointed up. Any thoughts? anything anyone would take out, or put in?2

so June turned out to be the worst month for NSDs and for making extra money. But we were on holiday for 11 days and been busy with lots of other things, so not surprised really. See you all on the July thread and thanks for hosting it @cathybirdMaking the debt go down and savings go up

- When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £228,473
- OPs to mortgage = £12,345 Estd. interest saved = £5,863 to date
Fixed rate 3.85% ends October 2030
Read 76 books of target 52 in 2025, as @ 7th December

I wonder if it would be worth saying something along the lines of its worth doing the challenge in company as we all have our challenging days and people here will commiserate with you and cheer you on in the same breath, so you don’t feel like a failure and can try again / continue in the rest of the month or the next month?
