Compassionate passport - what are my chances

Given how hard she said it was moving two bags, herself (being pregnant), and a toddler even with scheduled transfers, I'm not sure how easy it would be for her to get home without me. And that was with a transfer being there to help. I'm not sure how she can get back to the airport before the scheduled return bus transfer without help. A taxi isn't likely to help as my son would need a child seat and my understanding is that taxis don't normally have these. There don't appear to be any shuttle transfers until the return date. There are local bus services but they aren't direct by the look of things and I think her having to lug bags around, cajole a toddler, and navigate the local language and services might be a step too far for her.
With hindsight, we shouldn't have made the decision we did. But that is done now and all I can do is hope I can get out there to help her out.0 -
Well she managed to do all of that 24hours ago when she arrived on her own!And based on all of these issues how will she manage if you cant get out there?i wish you all the best with your endeavour but id be genuinely shocked if you manage to swing itLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right1

She did that with help from the bus transfer team. No bus available transfer until return date means she would have to do it all by herself if she came home early.0

You mention taxis - in this country young children can legally travel in them without child seats. Possibly that is the case in Spain too, which would remove the bus transfer worry.

I am confident that the taxi firms don't want to be unable to take paying customers with small children - if car seats are needed, there will be some able to supply them.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Public Transport in Spain
Taxis in cities are not obliged to ask you to use a car seat for your baby and you can carry him or her on your lap. There are many cab companies that allow you to pre-book a taxi with a car seat but ensure that you give advance notice.0 -
Emergency travel documents are only issued if you are outside UK and need to get back.Compassionate passports are not issued for lost passports .
”We do not consider the following as compassionate reasons why a customer may urgently need a passport:lost or expired passports”
Compassionate passports are also not issued so you can travel to assist a pregnant (but medically well) person to return to UK.
