E-visa for India

Completely off-topic but I used an single entry e-visa on my last trip to India but crossed the border into Nepal for a day. The border staff knew the situation and my passport wasn't stamped so there was no indication that I'd left the country.Voyager2002 said:
Yes you do.thegreenone said:Do you need to do e-visas now?
I went in 2016 and again in 2017 and used the e-visas. I found going online around 7am a good time. Do take a pen with you as I then had to complete a landing card once inside the terminal in Delhi. Oh and be prepared, sharpen your elbows and try to get off the plane asap to get to the gates.
Have a fabulous time.
I visited in April, and things were as you describe. The only difference now is that you can use the same e-visa to visit India again during the period of its validity.0 -
Many many thanks for all your help. I applied for our e visas last night and have both just had the email to say they have been granted. The link in the post by Pollycat was very very helpful
