Eon Next overcharging millions

I looked at last months statement from Eon and the Energy Price Guarantee didn't add up the price per Kwh multiplied by the pence per unit was found to be 2p short, so that meant the bill was 2p dearer than should be, I contacted Eon and they reimbursed me the 2p (as a goodwill gesture) yeah ok, my fathers has Eon too and guess what they have done the same overcharging with him, 33 million customers being overcharged if using the same energy would mean Eon Next is making £660,000 profit every month just by manipulating the end figure, CHECK YOUR LAST BILL NOW.

Probably just down to rounding and / or figures not published to umpteen decimal places. If so, you're just as likely to be undercharged; have you found overcharging month after month? In any case, your calculation is grossly inaccurate because they have only 5.6 million customers !3

I checked any calculations for the period 1st March to 31st March inc (Bill received early April).
My electricity should have been £137.99961 (from the statement numbers), so trucated = £137.99, rounded = £138.00 but the itemised amount was £137.98 so your assertion that Eon Next is making £660,000 profit every month just by manipulating the end figure is highly likely to be incorrect unless they were doing it every single month for every single customer which is not the case.

You'd be better targeting the oil companies. If you fill your car with 50 litres of petrol the pump is likely to deliver only 49.75 litres. That's because they're legally allowed to deliver 0.5% less than the stated amount, and pumps are calibrated very accurately to do exactly that.So every full tank is costing you about 35p more than it should.4
