Thats the million dollar Q, it was bad enough digging OH out of his pit early yesterday to go gammon hunting let alone if its not a dead cert today.

i managed to get 2 yesterday, its very hard though when there are no self checkouts and all you had was a pint of milk with £44 worth of gammon lol
  • It may have worked for you but it certainly didn't work for us when we tried it this afternoon and I made sure it was the right gammon as well.

We went through the basket till near the main entrance so I'm wondering whether that is programmed differently from the main tills.

no it doesnt make a difference as the first one i tried i went through the basket till..then hubby went and got another one and used a normal till so not sure why it wouldnt work for you:confused:

Yesterday I got 2 of these and paid nothing. Today at 10:10 I tried to buy exactly the same product at the same store, and even went through the same till, but just got the £5 discount :-(
  • I have just been to the Dalgety Bay Tesco`s and got talking to a friend of mine that works there, who told me that they had removed all the large joints off the shelf until they fixed the problem.

The problem is they are so bad at communicating between stores and even within stores that one person will take them off and another will put them back out.
