Well mine weighed 2.5k and hardly shrank at all. I cooked mine on 190 in a fan assisted oven for approx 3 and a half hours. Was lovely.
Glad I didn't get a jobsworth, looked for someone young and stupid looking - whoops didn't mean to be disrepctful.;)

Exactly what I did, spotty too. I find the spottier they are the more coupons they take and less notice they take of what they put through the til.
