I can see this working today aswell as they are too busy to look at the exact sales of everything at this time of year.0

Just a point. Is it acceptable, and in line with the spirit of this website, to refer to staff working in the store with such disrespectful language just because they are trying to protect the store's revenue?
Is "Jobsworth" really so disrespectful?
Also, having been subjected to some of the worst customer service I've ever recieved in Tescos, I can think of many more disrespectful things to call some of their employees.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Apparently they're not suitable for vegitarians or vegans!!!!
Remember, a gammon is for Christmas not just for life! One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0 -

Well mine weighed 2.5k and hardly shrank at all. I cooked mine on 190 in a fan assisted oven for approx 3 and a half hours. Was lovely.
Glad I didn't get a jobsworth, looked for someone young and stupid looking - whoops didn't mean to be disrepctful.;)0 -

Exactly what I did, spotty too. I find the spottier they are the more coupons they take and less notice they take of what they put through the til.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Just like the old days of r&r, look for the spotty lad, bored and gormless, don't you love 'em.
We've had some of our cold joint thinly sliced with cream cheese on a bagel, for breakfast, deeelish.0 -
There appears to be a theory amongst a few that this is some contrived device by Tesco to offload unwanted and unsaleable gammon, quite the contrary there are at least two employee's dreading their next shift in the IT department.
i think think we finally have a MSE on 'the inside' or maybe some headhoncho at tescos has been visited by the ghosts of christmas past, present and futureGreat Sage, equal of Heaven.0
