I have a lump sum of £78,000, don't know what's the best interest easy access account to open?
The money will be required at different stages towards a new build.

In simple terms, Chip @ 3.82%.
Set up the account, via the app.
I think I added my debit card but did not fund it that way as takes 3 days.
Once it was open I went into the easy access account, clicked Add money.
Then I added my bank account vie open banking.
I then transferred my test payment of £10.
It asks how much and then takes you to your bank where you confirm the transfer.
As soon as you click yes it opens another page where I need to click open and it confirms the deposit in Chip.
I made payments and withdraws every day over the bank holiday weekend to see if it was instantly debited and credited.
It was.
I would give them 10 out of 10.
You should get around £7 84 a day in interest if I’ve worked it out right.

The money will be required at different stages towards a new build. My advice to the OP would be to share the money between Chip and Tandem. Just for safety.0 -
