PAYG for short trip to Israel

I'm an occasional phone user only, so I use PAYG. Next month I shall be going on a short trip to Israel. I don't envisage using the phone much - perhaps even not at all - but it would be good to have the option of exchanging occasional texts (and maybe even an odd call) with family in the UK if necessary, and if it's not ridiculously expensive.

I am finding charging structures very difficult to follow. As far as I can tell from an MSE article, the best for my circumstances would be a Three PAYG SIM. But I'm confused as to whether this is just for a specifically "Go Roam" SIM (which I would need to get) or if the costs are the same for any Three PAYG SIM. If I understand correctly, the Go Roam charges are 35p/min calls to UK, 15p/text to UK and 10p/MB data.

The reason I'm asking is that I already have a Three PAYG SIM that I have had for some time in a phone I rarely use, but it's still active.

Apologies to those who probably see me as a dinosaur, but any help will be much appreciated!
