It depends on how far you want to take it. You could send a letter of/before claim, citing the unusable cheque and your requests for it to be re-issued, and a complaint to the SRA.
You could complain to the court that you haven't been paid.
You could even issue a warrant of control.

Hi, one more question if I may.

A month ago, I received a letter from Gladstones with the cheque for the judgement amount but cheque and letter were damaged (a bottom of the cheque ripped) so was unable to cash it in. I emailed them then with the picture and provided bank details /requested re-issue of the cheque. However I had no reply for a month now.

Not sure if anyone had the same issue. Is this really bad luck not sure.

I emailed them again but is there anything else I should do? The judgement I believe had something like 14 days to pay so it's overdue. And also wanted to share it in case anyone had similar experience with Gladstones.

Send a copy of your Gladstones email to the PPC and give the PPC 7 days or you'll issue a warrant of control.
