    Unless there are unusual circumstances (e.g. periods of absence) the figure you should use is 2421kWh assuming this is for electricity and that they were real readings as described above.

    So you actually used (rounding) 2400kWh a year - which is something like £90 per month if the calculation in my head was right.

    Seems like £55 was too low, but acceptable as you had some credit balance - if you remove the balance I would expect it to go up, but £130 seems (a little) too high.
