Back in Feb, I got the contract renewal offer from VM. £168 up from £118 previously (it's a hi speed package with a lot of add ons!), So, I went through the usual telephone "negotiation" and got it down to £69 for the same package. On my first bill. a credit of £505 appeared for "QuickStart Pack Credit". Since then, every month my account has been in credit and I've paid nothing. :-) I'm not complaining . It's May and I'm still £205 in credit.
I called them and asked what the credit was all about but could nott make head nor tail of what they were saying. The guy just said, it's right, you're in credit.
Does anyone have any idea what a "QuickStart Pack Credit" is all about?

Does anyone have any idea what a "QuickStart Pack Credit" is all about?Quickstart is documented here:The credit I would be careful about because you may find there comes a point where somebody notices oh that shoudln't be on there, let's get rid of it, oh look Mr Galvinonthewing owes us a lot of money, let's write him a letter.I would strongly recommend keeping some money aside just in case it turns out you were not supposed to be in credit to the tune of £500 - just because they applied it doesn't mean its accurate and they will have the right to come and request it back...0
