Haven't had any notification, yet, but, presumably, just a matter of time...?

I think I’ll have to give them a call. They have lowered my current charge to £22 and then from July it will be £25.50 on a new 12 month contract, this isn’t a problem though as I’ve only been with them 3 weeks.I’m happy with this.Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.3

My Now BB will be going up from £17.99 to £21.49 pm which includes Anytime calls worth £8.00 pm so landline and BB works out at £13.49 which can't be beaten.
However I would prefer to get rid of the landline altogether and use Lycamobile for broadband and calls (would cost me £5.25 pm for 12 months), most mobile companies are much cheaper than having a landline (see MSE sim only deals).0 -
I took out a 12 month contract for broadband in Jan. I was assured that there would be no price rise for the term of the contract, and that a guarantee of no mid contract price hikes was a usp for Now. I consider that this was a verbal contract which Now should honour. Being told that their customer service staff believed that information was correct at the time is of no interest to me. The fact is I signed up with Now on the basis of that assurance, which now turns out to be meaningless. Is this actually legal?0

I would challenge them on this, as it would probably be classed as a breach of contract. I think all calls are recorded so you should have proof of the contract.

We've been with them for a few years as when the contract ended they didn't put the price up so we stayed with them. Time to ditch them.
Nothing to see here, move along.0 -

We phoned in and told them we are thinking of leaving, we only joined in November and were not warned of a price hike...we see Shell Broadband is cheaper....we heard others have been offered a discount or free calls etc. etc.
Guess what they offered us?
NOTHING! Zilch....nada.
Now we really do want to leave...no help at all.0 -

Now we really do want to leave...no help at all.Mine is going up to £25.50 a month in July and like you I wasn't offered anything better. I looked into other providers including Shell. They are a bit cheaper now but remember there will be a price rise around March/April 2024 for CPI from them and your contract will be longer than the Now Broadband's 12 months. Their customer service has been reviewed as not being good also. I've decided to stay put as there isn't anything on the market worth switching to as so many have them CPI rises to account for.1 -
Yes Mike, my Mum was with Shell...they are not that great if you have a problem and they are quite expensive now, except for new customers. My Mum switched to BT's social tariff...with great difficulty...seemed they did not want to do it really as it's only £15 a month for basic fibre broadband and 700 mins of calls. You have to be on Pension Credit or maybe other benefits to qualify but now it's finally been installed it's working well for her and saving her £20 a month as we speak.0
