Yes, I have invited the seller to collect the damaged goods but they will charge me and add it to the overall bill.NBLondon said:Like the Duck says - Where are the damaged/faulty goods? The straightforward response to the demand for payment is to invite the seller to collect or arrange return of the goods.0 -
It wasn't chargebackMattMattMattUK said:
Yes they can, they can also take you to court, whether they will be successful depends on the merits of the case. Chargeback is not a legal decision, it is purely you requesting money back from a card provider and them taking the money back from the retailer.mabaker.lb said:I recently made a claim to my credit card company as goods purchased were damaged and faulty. I had spent many months trying to get a response from the company and felt it was my only option.
The case had all my evidence and eventually, I had my money refunded. The company is not happy and is now emailing me directly asking for the payment. They cant do this can they?0 -
