Bought a camera on Amazon then price dropped before it was delivered

I bought a camera a couple of days ago on Amazon. It hasn't been delivered yet - it's being supplied by a 3rd party vendor and is due to arrive in the next day or two. In the meantime the Amazon price has dropped by £25 (from a different 3rd party vendor). Is there anything I can do to take advantage of the lower price?

Yep, send it back when it arrives and buy it again for the lower price.

Then keep your fingers crossed that the price doesn't go up again by more than £25 in the meantime.

As a distance sale you can cancel the first order within 14 days of receipt of the goods and reorder at the lower price. This may leave you having to cover return costs but amazon often have free returns.

Better is to have a conversation with Amazon but because its to different sellers its more complicated than if it was the same seller that had dropped their price.

Pmd the team to move to an actual board as it’s not currently posted on one.

Buy at the lower price and return the higher priced one.

Am I guaranteed to receive a full refund for my original order if I return it when it arrives? Or is there a risk that they will charge a delivery fee (which may be much higher than I expected)?
I tried getting on webchat with Amazon, but got bounced to the Sellers Message Board, which has a 48 hr response time.

Is it being delivered by Amazon or from the vendor themselves ?

Which does not alter your rights but complicates the return process depending on how good a seller they are.

You will get a refund but how much they choose to sting you with for returns is down to the seller.

Assuming they are in the UK they have to refund the standard delivery fee, if you paid for an express delivery they can deduct the difference between express and standard from the refund. Its just the return fee which they can make fully your responsibility but that's easy to see who'll pay by starting the process in Amazon and seeing the options available.

I did start the process on Amazon but it wasn't giving me any information about the return fee, so it's all a bit opaque...
