Chase debit card not recognised as a Mastercard Debit Card.

Hello, I've had a few issues with the Chase debit card over the last two years. On a few occasions it has outright not been accepted by payment systems. In the most recent a Lloyds bank website would not let me add it, with an error saying the card has to be a Visa debit or Mastercard debit card. The Chase app says the card is a Mastercard deb it card. I've spoken to both Chase and Lloyds and, to date, neither has offered any solution.

What were you trying to do on the Lloyds website? If you were trying to send money to Chase, just use the sort code and account number.0

One of the ways a payment processor can tell what type of card it is is by checking the BIN number which is typically the first 6 digits of a number. Not sure how regularly these are updated etc but searching for Chase UK in some of the normal online checkers it returns no values. I dont have a chase debit card to be able to see what actually comes up with the numbers.
I have seen in the past that there were some BIN that werent explicitly debit or credit and as such may be rejected if a payment field is set only to accept debit and uses the BIN to check0 -

The last time I checked my Chase Card BIN (few months ago) against MasterCard master list, it was listed as a MasterCard World Elite Debit for JP Morgan Chase. When I had checked the same BIN number when I first received the card it was listed as issued by a different bank and cannot recall if it was actually listed as MC WE Debit or not0

I am having the same problem with Halifax Share Dealing as I need to set up my Chase Debit Mastercard as a replacement debit card.
Submitting the details triggers an approval requirement on the Chase app, which is accepted, but then the HSD website states "The only card types we accept are Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit and Maestro. Please try again."
I have tried several times over a few days, but always with the same outcomeNot sure how regularly these are updated etc but searching for Chase UK in some of the normal online checkers it returns no values0 -
Maybe Lloyds haven't updated their systems for awhile with upto date BINs.

As a follow up. I have today telephoned Halifax Share Dealing and they attempted to add my Chase Debit Mastercard details to my HSD account, but again this failed, as the card was not recognised as a Debit Mastercard.
I have asked that this issue is forwarded to a manager and was told that I'd be called back?0
