Chase android payments not accepted in post office and Asda supermarket. Santander card which is also a Mastercard is accepted. Does anybody else have this issue as Chase says its Mastercard debit card should be valid everywhere?

If, by android payments, you mean Google Wallet (aka Google Pay) I use that regularly in Asda with no issues. If not, can you tell us what you do mean?paul235 said:Chase android payments not accepted in post office and Asda supermarket.1 -
My Chase cars is still at home in its envelope.
Google wallet only for me. Chase works fine, never declined.
Will find out on Tuesday as will be at Asda.
One physical credit card for fuel payments in the glovebox.
Plus emergency £20 in phone case for BFH.
( Bus Fare Home ).2 -
Yes I mean Google Wallet but it was not accepted on 15/9/22.northwalesd said:

If it continues to be rejected, maybe take it up with the Asda store. There is not reason why it shouldn't work. I've never had a problem at Asda, or anywhere else Mastercard payments are accepted.paul235 said:

What did the terminal say, and what information does the Chase app have about the 'declined' payment? As an example, I tried to use Chase through Google wallet when there wasn't enough cash in my account, the Chase transaction showed something like 'Declined insufficient funds'.paul235 said:

I use Wallet a lot, but it's not infallible and I always carry at least one physical card. I tried to use it last weekend at the opticians (using an underlying credit card not my Chase debit card) to presented with the display message, "Please insert physical card". No idea why.1 -
Something like 'Google Pay payments not accepted here'. I have made payments with physical card before in Asda and at the post office but that too is declined, both methods accepted elsewhere. No message on the app, had sufficient funds.northwalesd said:

Then as suggested by Masonic, you need to talk to Asda. They obviously do take Google Pay payments, and as there's nothing in the Chase app itself it sounds like it's nothing to do with Chase. If the Asda terminal was connecting (for want of a better term) that should at least show some activity in the Chase app.0

I've used my Chase card through Google Pay in ASDA without a problem.
My local Post Office are cheeky - they sometimes put card payments through as cash withdrawals, because that earns them commission. If they try this with a Chase card, it will fail because Chase don't offer a cash depost/withdrawal service as the Post Office.
Only place I have a problem with is a car parking app, which won't accept my Chase debt card, wither directly or using Google Pay.0
