BSB contacted me last June via email and I informed them I owed TE nothing as I had been placed with British Gas who took over the £300 I owed. They mailed be back and said my case was complicated and they needed to speak to me in person. I rang the number 8 times over 3 days and nobody answered, on one occasion I was put through to an answer machine so I left my contact number and told them to ring me and nobody did. I emailed them again and told them I was sick of not being able to directly speak to anybody and if they did not contact me within 72 hours then as far as I was concerned the matter was closed. Yet again no contact from them.
They contacted me again 2 weeks ago stating yet again I owed TE. I sent them all the communication emails I had sent/received back in June (thankfully I saved them) and that I hit a brick wall in contacting them. This time instead of sending the emails to BSB I sent them directly to the woman's email address who was on the latest email. Yet again no reply. I emailed them back this Monday stating that I was sick of the situation and if I heard nothing by today I was reporting them to the Financial Services Ombudsman.
Do you think this is the best option for me to take?0 -

I have now lodged a formal complaint to the TE administrator, FRP Advisory.. If you go to their contact page there is a dedicated link for TE customers. They got back to me quickly and are taking steps to resolve the issue. Hope this helps. I also recommend you read the Trustpilot reviews for BSB - pretty damning!0

Thanks for that address. I am trying to help a 78 year old neighbour who is not compete savvy and has received a letter from BSB ref TE for £1181.00. She is terrified and when I contacted them on her behalf was told that this 'Migration' amount has been 'owed elsewhere'. Will now try frpadvisory to see if they can help0

Hi All,
So this is a very latecomer to the 'party', however my story dates back to 2018/9... There is a lot of history that contains my original One Select supplier going into admin. OFGEM arbitrarily moving me to Together Energy (TE). TE going into admin. then OFGEM arbitrarily moving me to British Gas.
Lots of history between then and now, including me raising a complaint against TE via the Ombudsman regarding billing etc. which came out in my favour. All can be evidenced quite well.
Current situation is that TE (or their administrator - FRP, designated debt recovery organisation - BSB) in my opinion could not provide the evidence to support their (TE) claims of a final bill to me of circa £3k. After a lot of communication asking for proof of debt I asked for a SAR (data and bills). Again after a long period including raising a complaint with the ICO I have received a response from BSB Head of Data and Operations. Some 19 bills/attachments that I still need to pore through and data supplied to them by the administrators of my previous energy company upon placement of my account with them.
Anyhow, one of my questions is: the data they have supplied to me is my old address and phone number. What should I do? Do I correct them? Concerned that if I do then I give them the details for a door step approach etc.
Thoughts please?0 -

There is a Facebook group entitled "Together Energy customer support" that has been running since well before T.E went bust. There is a gentleman on there ,Ron Seymour, who has had some success in disentangling bills, including reissued and cancelled. He may be willing to help you if you can't sort the bills yourself.
I wouldn't give BSB any information re phone number or current address that they haven't already got. Certainly don't want to talk with some of the unpleasant employees on the phone if you value your blood pressure!1 -

Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1
