Thank you so much.Coupon-mad said:Yes, because you will have transferred liability. Can't lose if taken to court (won't happen).
Is it ok if I post draft reply on here (with any relevant info removed)
Many thanks.0 -
Hello all,
Sent 2 letters to ECP in 2023 giving full.driver info and they replied to both saying too late and deal with debt company.
Then heard no more until last week when DCBL sent a letter for £170 with 14 days to pay.
Searching seems DCBL like to push the court route.
Any advise would be appreciated as always
Thank you

DCBL or DCB LEGAL. ? Ignore DCBL , DCBL cannot issue any court claim, cannot push it to court

Thanks for the reply
DCBL - Direct Collection Baliffs Ltd
Based in Cheshire
Seems they are a sister company of DCB Legal?
Many thanks

Yep, debt collectors, no powers, ignore them

Many thanks.
Assume they may send another letter then pass to DCB Legal which is when I need to look at things again? Will DCB Legal just go straight to court option?
Thank you.

Dcb legal will issue a LBC, giving you 30 days notice, sometime in the future
After that, possibly a Money Claim on behalf of their client, the private parking company claimant

Ok thanks again.
Will ignore and repost when further letters are received.
Thanks

Good afternoon all,
Further to the above only one more letter was received headed in red "Final notice of intended legal action" from DCBL.
This was 3 months ago and have heard nothing since.
Is there a timeline of when the next letter may be received or is it random?
I'm sure they won't just drop things.
As always thanks for the valued help received in here.

Its random, but their deadline is 6 years from the incident date for taking legal action ( Money Claim. )
