Just emptied Zopa to Chip which has annoyed me because the Zopa app is one of the best.0

Agreed, looks very lean and easy to add/withdraw money. Chip has been alright for me though, people just need to be careful to disable the auto-save.bertsilver said:Just emptied Zopa to Chip which has annoyed me because the Zopa app is one of the best.

I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -

Got my ZOPA notification last night!
Have been trying to decide between moving some of my balance to mainly fixed rate accounts or sticking to easy access! Won't need the bulk of the money probably till next year, but the choice of top paying accounts seems to change ever week now!
I nearly went for a 1-year (5%) fixed at the start of May, which is now easily beaten!
I agree I think ZOPA has had its day, will keep it open anyway!

Agree with keeping Zopa, you never know, we may all get a nice surprise one of these days. I've still got money in pots which will be taken out as they mature. It's a real pity as I really like the app.0

Zopa will probably come back to the top again at some point when they need an injection of funds. Most of these challenger banks seem happy enough to pop up at the top every once in a while, gain an injection of funds and then slide back down the list. The funds are slowly withdrawn by the public again over time and moved to better rates with others. Once enough have done so that they require further funds, the bank will raise the rates again.
Zopa clearly aren't in need of raising significant funds for now based on their poor recent rate rises.0 -
When I saw this back in Feb: https://www.zopa.com/blog/article/zopa-raises-75-million I thought they won't have good rates any more. Got downvoted to hell but was right.0
