in Water bills
Hi,
I have a query I was hoping someone might be able to help me with about water price increases.
My water is supplied by Yorkshire Water, and generally prices seem to go up every year, but I never seem to receive any kind of notice about the increase.
Does anyone know if Water companies have a requirement to notify customers about price increases?
I've tried searching on Google but I can't find anything relating to this.
I would have assumed that Water companies would have similar regulations to gas & electric suppliers, and would have to nofity you.

Welcome to the forum.
There is no requirement to inform individual account holders of how their charges will increase. However all of the percentage increases for the dozens of charges are published on-line. Yorkshire Water - Our charges0
