Yorkshire BS - Secure messaging - Don't use Copy/paste, as your message may not send

Has anyone successfully corresponded with YBS in this way, as I sent a message on 1st May (and chased on 14/5) and still haven't had a response.
I'm probably going to have to bite the bullet and ring them, but I just wondered if mine is the only query to get "lost down the back of the sofa" with them, or not?
Also, are you supposed to be able to see 'sent' messages in your message centre, as I can't see any? Annoying that I can't see what I sent, when. But, luckily, I kept a word version of what I said and when.
And if anyone from YBS is reading this....REPLY TO YOUR SECURE MESSAGES!!! please.
p.s. - It's not about something the forum can help answer, or I would have asked here.
*RESOLVED* - Yes, it would appear that using copy/paste to add text to a secure message, can stop the message sending. If you don't see your sent message in your messages, it didn't go. Hope this helps anyone with a similar issue.

How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

Yes YBS secure messaging response times are very quick, from experience easy to think have sent a message only to discover when not getting a reply that final confirm was not pressed thus message was not sent.0

Have I missed a step? Is it not just the big green "send" button at the bottom?
I'm pretty sure I pressed that. And the chances of me missing it twice...How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -
I have used their secure messaging a few times with a reply usually within a few days maximum. However I had a recent problem with secure messaging during an ISA transfer to YBS when opening their ISA, they sent me an email saying there was a new secure message but when I logged in there was no message count on the envelope on the main page and no secure message. It later turns out the ISA failed. The same happened again when the ISA transfer was restarted, a new email came through saying there was a secure message but no actual message which would have said the ISA was successful. They say their IT are investigating but 2 weeks on no news from that yet. Maybe automated ISA messages are going stray, but the conversations with people on their secure messaging has been OK.

Mine isn't an ISA, and my query isn't account specific (which is one of the options).
Both accounts are open and operating as normal.
I have no messages (either sent or received) showing in my account.
Should my sent messages show? How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -
You are meant to be able to see them in the sent section. I would suggest you make a complaint. Please let us know what they say the cause was - I’d be interested to know.If you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

I did a mixture of typed in manually and copy/paste, so maybe that's the issue.
Annoying.
I'll try again typing the whole thing manually, if I still don't hear back in a few days. (I'm going off on holibobs 😎)How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)1 -
That's how I communicate and they are always back to me in a day. Might have missed the one you sent.
They also answer the phone very quick so you can do that to.1 -
I have today, re-sent my message by typing it all in manually (no copy/paste) and upon clicking send, it does now show in "my messages" so this is promising and it appears to actually have gone somewhere.

They have responded and are investigating. IT WORKED!!!
So, it does appear that adding any copy/paste items to your message can stop it actually being sent.
I'll update the thread title in case anyone else has a similar issue.

It's annoying that their app is so basic, it doesn't even include a messaging facility. I know we can do it online, but the point of an app is to replicate the online facilities in a tidy package, surely.1
