DFS sofa damage

Apologies firstly as there is probably loads of posts about damaged DFS sofas but just thought I'd explain our experience.
Paid cash for a new sofa, was delivered in December 22 and two weeks later the springs fell out, had to wait 4 weeks to get it repaired then we noticed that there was a ridge on one of the sofa arms that has contributed towards fabric damage on the arm, again repair man came out to look and said the ridge on the arm could be repaired, waited another 2 weeks for him to return and although he fixed the ridge the fault with the fabric on the arm still remains.
The sofa now has a creak everytime it's sat on, which is annoying.
Again rang up DFS and they said they would send out the repair man, I said I don't want a repair and I wanted it replaced and told them that it would be the 4th visit from the repair man since we got the sofa delivered just over 6 month ago and it unacceptable.
Customer service arranged the local store to call us to discuss the issues, we stated that we wanted a replacement as the product is faulty and we are not accepting another repair.
Now we have to wait another month for a DFS to come out to inspect the sofa and hopefully offer us a replacement.
Just wondering if anyone else has gone through similar issues with DFS and if they have managed to get a replacement?

I've never bought from DFS but if the sofa was such poor quality I'd be after a refund and not a replacement.1

Within the first 6 months the retailer is allowed ONE attempt either to repair or to replace goods that have become "faulty".
If that ONE attempt has failed, you are entitled to a full refund - no arguments from DFS
