Samsung s21 ultra factory factory reset, How?

I'm giving this to my daughter (bought it for my wife and she doesn't like it).

Anyone know how to factory reset it?   There's no option under settings apart from reset data, which isn't a factory reset. Youtube says to drop it into recovery (power + vol up from off), but I've tried that a dozen times and it will not go into recovery.

I've never had this problem in the past, every other phone has had a factory reset in the options menu!

    It should be
    Settings
    General Management
    Reset
    Factory Reset
Edit: If this isn't there please could you say where the phone came from, the firmware version and model number?

Just to confirm that your instructions are correct for Android 13 (which is what the S21 should be running).

It gives the option of Factory Data Reset which wipes it clean of all your files but leaves in place any operating system updates that will have taken place from day 1 up to now.

I believe the option has been in the same place since launch. The exception being some branded versions or managed devices .

So the model number (eg SM-998xx and for firmware version would help narrow this gs down )

Thanks. I tried that and it did nothing?  But, just tried it again and this time it has wiped the phone.  Not sure why it didn't work first time?
