Dcbl ccj for parking charge now a small claims track

I received a ccj from dcbl I put in a defence as two dates were during lockdowns and one after that the van had broken down I have an invoice from the mechanic I also notified the land owner as tow notice was put on the van also staying in the bay over the allotted time in which I asked them to provide evidence that I hadn’t moved the van and returned an hour later to the same spot they have now sent me a small claims track letter the amount is for £1300 which is to much especially for a free car park

Do you mean you received a N1 claim form OR you received a CCJ - different things!

£1300 can't be for two PCNs.

    You didn't get a CCJ. A claim isn't a CCJ.

What small claims track letter - simply the standard one that it has been allocated and you need to fill in your N180?  Normal stuff, covered in this forum already in the sticky thread.

You need to read the second post of the NEWBIES thread to understand what happens when.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sounds like you have received a County Court Claim Form.
If so, please tell us the Issue Date on it.

So you have filed a Defence.
It might be an idea to show us exactly what you have filed as a Defence.

I've just re-read you opening post.
    Do you have a question?

Ah, that Directions Questionnaire is just a copy of one completed by the Claimant's solicitor.
It accompanied a letter telling you they intend to proceed.

You need to wait for your own DQ to be supplied to you by the County Court Business Centre which you then complete.
