Is this still a thing? My dad used to get this done back in the 1970s. I thought it was bonkers then and thought it must have died out - through evolution if nothing else...sim2335 said:I went hairdresser on Friday, Turkish one anyway I ask them to do fire on my ear hair...
I always have a phobia about the barber snipping the top of my ear off.

I've had it done several times by barbers, usually from the Eastern end of the Mediterranean. It was a bit weird the first time but never been hurt.Manxman_in_exile said:

Sim - you've had the reasonable answers - if you weren't satisfied with the apology and discount at the time, you needed to say so at the time. Maybe you weren't confident to. But claiming compensation now is a non-starter.
If you're uncertain - change hairdressers. Or ask not to be seated with that specific barber.I need to think of something new here...0
